LAHORE: Former Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq won’t be a part of this fourth variant of this Pakistan Super League (PSL), ” a statement from Islamabad United verified on Wednesday.
Misbah, who captained the most popular PSL champions Islamabad United, was with the franchise for many of its last three seasons.
“Islamabad United has greatly appreciated Misbah as a participant, pioneer and a great team player. Since he transitions to his non-playing stage, we think he will add a good deal of significance to Islamabad United and Pakistan,” the announcement read.
“The company continues to talk about with him paths that could supply him a stage to pursue his second stage. These talks continue and deserve the confidentiality that a mature player like him warrants,” the franchise included.
Islamabad United proprietor Ali Naqvi also chose to Twitter to hail Misbah’s travel together with the franchise.
